The Interchange | Navigating Difficult Conversations
There are major issues with how we talk to one another:
- Forty-three percent of job seekers under 45 think texting is a professional way for recruiters to communicate with talent.
- Twenty-six percent of people feel pressured to respond to work communication outside of work hours.
- Americans spend 26 minutes a day texting and send 5.3 more texts than the number of calls they make.
It’s clear that we as a workforce are avoiding deep, meaningful conversations with one another because frankly, they’re tough. Especially when issues that need to be addressed are constantly being ignored.
Let’s turn the fear and avoidance of tough conversations into tools for empowering vulnerability and honesty. Welcome to The Interchange: Navigating Difficult Conversations.
